You’ll help make a difference to mums in your community
Do you want to give back to mothers in your local community? Would you like to gain new skills and experience in community work? Are you looking for a way to meet new mums? Perhaps you’re looking to increase your Child Care Subsidy Activity hours.
Our Mama Tribe Ambassadors program offers great volunteer opportunities for mums.
Please note: Ambassador recruitment for our national Mama Tribe network is currently paused. You are still welcome to register your expression of interest and we will be in touch when recruitment resumes.
AS A VOLUNTEER MAMA TRIBE AMBASSADOR YOU CAN…
Host meet-ups and meet new local mum friends
Receive accredited perinatal mental health first aid training from COPE
Complete a recognised Child Care Subsidy Activity to help with child care costs*
Help reduce loneliness and isolation for other mums in your community
Mama Tribe’s Ambassadors enjoy great volunteer opportunities for mums:
As an Ambassador you can…
- Co-ordinate one of our exciting Mama Mingles events
- Host regular casual meet-ups in your local area, or online get-togethers
- Help run and maintain the energy and connection inside our Mama Tribe Facebook communities
- Promote Mama Tribe in your local community and welcome new mums to join
- Complete a recognised Child Care Subsidy Activity as a volunteer, which can help with child care costs*
Mama Tribe provides all training to support you in your Ambassador role. This includes accredited perinatal mental health first aid training with the Centre of Perinatal Excellence.
Of course, you’ll also be supported by our national Ambassador community.
